Make money on the internet - Free methods and Paid methods
Thursday, November 27th, 2008Lots of people are aspiring to earn money online, but not everyone is prepared to spend
money. In strict sense there no need to spend money online to make money. There are
various tools available one for free whether it is creating the site or marketing.
Ok let look at the free methods first. You can create your own website for free. If you have
content or willing to write content on the subject you like, you can have website for free.
Some of the free sources are blogger.com, wordpress.com, squidoo.com and
hubpages.com.
The above mentioned services are free. Only a valid is email is required to create the site.
The navigation and the process of creating your site is very easy and you have a bunch of
tutorials on this. You need to do google like how to create a blog in blogger, wordpress,
squidoo, hubpages etc.
You should be knowing by now you can have a valid email for free from yahoo, hotmail,
google etc.
So you have a website. Next thing required is the content. You should be prepared to put
content on the subject you know. Post atleast three or four blog post every week is a good
start to keep momentum.
For marketing the website you can use free tools like article submission sites like
ezinearticles, go articles etc. For social bookmarking digg, redditt, stumbleupon, technorati
etc.You can submit your rss feed using feedburner, pingomatic.
For earning revenue you can join google adsense for free. You need to have a website to
get google adsense account. so create a blog in blogger.com and post few articles and
provide this blog address as your website. You will get the adsense account a day or two.
The only disadvantages in the free methods is you do not own the site. You have created the
site using a free service. Tomorrow if google decides to remove blogger services all your
work is gone for ever.
Paid method of making money in the internet:
The only change to above process is you will own the domain here. More significantly your
web address is the site name you select (for example yourname.com), you can have a
email like contact @yourname.com. The cost of buying a domain is 8 - 9 dollar per year.
Next thing is you should host your site to be available to everyone to access through internet.
This is where webhosting comes to picture. There are millions of web hosting providers who
offers as cheap as $ 1 per month.
By taking together you will be spend only a minimum of $ 20 per year, the significant
advantage is you own your domain and you will never lose your website.
I think you can choose now which one is best for you depends on your affordability.
