What type of site design you are going to have? Don’t be overwhelmed with the question above. I will make it very clear. In the website design, basically there are two forms of website. One- Html site, where the site is build basically through html. Two - Wordpress blog type sites,where you have to install the wordpress blog and start posting the content.

My recommendation here is any thing you are comfortable with. Many say blog is good for search engine. It is true but it cannot eliminate html sites, as not everyone like blog and blogs does not suit some form of websites.

Lets discuss about the two options in details, so that you can take whichever you want.

Html websites: Html websites are the standard website you see all over the net. It is built based on the html codes . You have absolutely not required to learn html for creating the sites. There are html editors which makes the designing and creating the sites easier. The editor are user friendly and similar to usage of Microsoft Word. You also have detailed instruction to it. Eventhough editors are there, if you learn the basic html codes will be useful on your way (any way you will get it as you do, not necessarily you have learn).

I suggest you to use two editors here which are best available for the beginners. One is free and the other you have pay for it (but really worth it).

The second html builder I strongly suggest is xsitepro. I really want to say that this is an excellent piece of software of beginners. If has lot of options for internet marketers and this will be an excellent tool for online endeavour. You have to worry very little to none about html with xsitepro.

Wordpress blogs: This website is based on the blog styled websites. The maintenance of wordpress blog is very simple. The is the same as what you looking at now. The only step which overwhelms the beginners is installation of wordpress blog. I may not discuss about the installation here as of now but you can get lots of help by googling about the “wordpress installation”. You may need to spend some time to get around it. If you are absolutely not getting it or not interested in knowing this stuff there is always help. Get someone from your known friends or relatives to get in installed or you can hire a person at elance to install it. It should not cost you much.

Once you have done this you have domain, hosting and blog / html site on it.

What is the best internet business opportunity for me ? Is this sounds like a question you ask? This is the frequently asked question from my new subscribers. Most of them are new to the internet marketing.

It is a normal question for the newbies. Following your passion
If you’re promoting and selling your passion, then it’s much easier for you to create high value content and products and pass that along in such an enthusiastic and decisive way that it automatically will show your expertise! This is the best way to earn online since people expect solutions from the expert.

Once established as an expert, you use that status to build a strong relationship with your prospects. Use your knowledge to help them as much as you can. The point is, all things being equal, people prefer to buy from a friend, rather than a stranger.

BUT, the big thing here to remember is the demand. Is your passion have enough demand in the market. If yes there will not be a problem in creating the product and marketing it. But if there is no demand and you wait for the customer to roll in - believe me you get frustrated and ultimately quit.

So market research is the most improtant thing for your success. This is can be termed as keyword research in internet world.
Following the money :

Your aim is here is to make money by grabing your share of pie. Here too market research is very important. You promote only product which are demand and people are buying.

The big problem with this approach is you might not have knowledge in this field. Knowledge is more important to create content. You would have heard “Content is the King” in the kingdom of internet. If you are not able to provide good quality and unique content, there is no significant monetary gains.

The alternative way to create content is outsourcing all the thing required. But this approach is costly and your breakeven period is uncertain.

So either way you have to decide on the course of action depends on your circumstances. Whatever your approach is “Taking Action” is more vital than any thing.

Most frequent question with the newbies is what to take between the short term or long term. I am sure as newbie you have already wandering around the net and have seen some marketing for the short term profits and some advice on long term.

You gather information day to day and finally sitting confused. Which is the right way to go?

Relax my friend. I will try to make you clear. Let see what is short term, Long term and its pros and cons

Short term profits in internet marketing are a sudden burst of sites (ready made sites) and dropping some adsense and affiliate programmes in it. People who always teach short term teaches more of adsense sites. You may or may not aware pure adsense sites has got hit long back. Google doesn’t want junk sites which is of no use to the end users.

People who advocates this concept talks about volume, more sites more money. They even go to the extent of saying register the domain for one year and dump it after a year.

What is the final effect on this? You may earn some on this with little effort. Little effort because you have readily available site builders which creates thousands of pages on a click of button with junk content or recycle content. One day you will find that your site is banned by the search engines and do not have any visitors.

In short this concept is like building your house on the sand. No foundation and expect the worst any moment. If you lose the site all your work is gone. You have to start from scratch.

Long term stategy is similar to the above, in the sense you create a site on a niche. The difference is like building a proper house. You do your foundation strong, select the design, front view, color, number of rooms, garden, fitting and fixtures etc.

Similarly you buy a proper site builder, design your site on your own, arrange for a good site header, write articles or outsource it, do keyword research, drop some good images, at the end blend google adsense and affilate program. The main difference is you do everything on your liking, you do a proper site with value. The visitors who visits your site will have value. They become interested on you views and buy the products you suggest. This may take some time but the business is rock solid and improves day by day.

By doing this you can have three or four sites in a year. If you are thinking about the volume stop. You are focused on quality and value not volume here. When you focus on quality and value - less is more.

This is the method I strongly believe and advocate. This can be taken as a real serious business. Develop and grow with it.
